Evil Auntie's Tiny MeatballsIngredients:
* as needed
| Notes Ground turkey has more water than ground beef or pork, so we need to be careful how much water we add to get a consistency that will hold together in the pan without flattening. Preparation Dice onion. Saute onions in 1Tablespoon butter and reserve. Mix turkey, breadcrumbs and spices using the stand mixer. Add onions, then add just enough water to make into a very thick paste. Roll into meatballs - Use a small spoon to scoop out, then roll using the palms into round balls. Add rest of the butter into the pan and saute the meatballs. Turn frequently so all sides are browned. Decorate with pimento pieces and serve. |
